Plan on getting wet in the clear cold waters of the Hiwassee River. A T-shirt, shorts, or a bathing suit are recommended attire. Shoes must be worn on the river, preferably sneakers or river shoes.
And don't forget the sun screen! Remember to bring a change of clothes and a towel for after your trip.

Do not take anything on the river that you do not want to get wet or do not want to lose (car keys!).
